Mithril ~ Plant Based Yarn

Mithril is a one off plant fibre colourway. On a light silver it combines purples, golds and bottle green to give a metallic reflective effect.

Kaguya 4ply 100% Bamboo - 380m/100g

kaguya 4ply has a smooth and silky feel with lots of drape making it a fingering weight yarn that’s ideal for shawls, warm/mild weather garments and other accessories.

Limbo 4ply 70% Bamboo 30% Linen - 400m/100g

Limbo 4ply has a linen feel despite the majority bamboo content, this helps to give it more structure whilst still maintaining drape, it is ideal for warm / mild weather projects that require structure. It works up like linen with a gorgeous sheen, it will also soften as you work with and wear it.

Tencel Dk 100% Tencel - 225m/100g

A gorgeous high sheen yarn, with fimness to its construction. Ideal for making garments or items that require structure on a tight gauge or that require drape on a looser gauge, This yarn provides great stitch definition.

Due to the hand dyed nature of this yarn there may be some variation from skein to skein, even within the same dyelot. For best results, alternate skeins every couple of rows in projects using several skeins.

This skein is machine washable ( <30, delicate wash), however to preserve colour and texture in your projects , gentle hand washing at low tempreture is recommended. Hang or lay flat to dry.

Plant fibre yarns undergo an involved washing procedure that uses synthrapol to encourage the removal of unbonded dye, as well as both hot and cold washing. Sometimes there might still be some excess dye in the first few washes however this will not transfer or bond to this yarn or other plant based yarns.
