Semi - Solid Adventure Club

Join us for an adventure in rich colour featuring layered semisolids each month.

This is a yarn club that you can dip in and out of, just grab yours by the 20th of each month to get that month's yarn.
All skeins in this club are semi-solid colourways, they will be rich in colour inspired by different themes each month.

Third Vault Yarns Tessaract is a gorgeous silky yarn with a lustrous sheen that represents the glowing richness of the Tesseract, the infinity stone containment vessel. This yarn has wonderful drape and can be used for shawls and other luxury items.

Third Vault Yarns Companion base is a squishy soft merino yarn that knits like a dream. Companion is named in tribute to all the companions throughout the galaxy, travelling in time and space, through the black, respectable and otherwise! One skein works for a lovely shawl or a large pair of socks. More than one skein would make a lovely garment.

Third Vault Yarns Librarian sock is a nicely plied slightly crisp lusturous sock weight yarn, that is still nice and soft. Named in tribute to Librarians as the gatekeepers to the gates of wonder and magic. Keepers of history, knowledge and imagination. These sturdy, stable bastions of culture and learning are ideal to represent this sock weight yarn which has wonderful strength and character. Perfect for making socks to snuggle up in on those cold nights or the workhorse socks for a long day out. These would also make a lovely warm jumper.

Selkie is inspired by the seal people of myth and folklore, and the hypnotic dancers who eventually got their seal skins returned in Lost Girl. This beautiful yarn, is soft and silky with a lovely sheen, great handle and drape. This luxurious yarn can be used for next to the skin garments and items, or any outer items for added wow.

Hardy Merino Nylon Dk 80% Superwash Merino 2o% Nylon - 245/100g

Hardy Dk is a robust merino with nylon, that will make nice hardy sock in thicker weight yarn., With merino softness, but the benefit of a longer staple yarn to ensure a longer lasting project. 

Selkie Dk 50% Silk 50% Superwash Merino -212m/100g

Caroline Dk/Worsted 100% Superwash Merino - 230m/115g
Worsted weight | Approximately 5 ½ stitches per inch on 4mm needles

Caroline is our slightly thicker Dk/ worsted base replacing a much loved Echo Dk, this yarn is Extra springy and still has lots of squish. Gives great stitch definition and is still a heavy hitter versatile yarn just like Echo.

Space Aran 100% Superwash Merino - 166m/100g
Aran Weight

Space is a gorgeously springy 3 plied Aran weight yarn which is ideal for winter jumpers, hats and cowl knitting. Space is named with it's sister yarn of the same weight but different base, Time because with Sci Fi and Fantasy all of space and time is open to you!

Due to the hand dyed nature of this yarn there may be some variation from skein to skein, even within the same dyelot. For best results, alternate skeins every couple of rows in projects using several skeins.

These superwash yarns are machine washable at <30 on a delicate wash prefferably in a net bag, to best preserve your project gentle hand washing is recommended instead in cold/ lukewarm water. Dry Flat.

Whilst all our yarns undergo a washing process after dyeing, there can be some bleeding when washed, especially with the use of some commercial wool washes, as these can sometimes weaken the dye bonds.
