Supernova Sets

The Supernova Set is a 10 colourway flowing gradient of bright punchy colours into moody ones. They are ideal for fading and can be separated into two sets, worked from dark to light and then back to dark, the other way round or light to dark and vice versa.

Third Vault Yarns Companion base is a squishy soft merino yarn that knits like a dream. Companion is named in tribute to all the companions throughout the galaxy, travelling in time and space, through the black, respectable and otherwise! One skein works for a lovely shawl or a large pair of socks. More than one skein would make a lovely garment.

Due to the hand dyed nature of this yarn there may be some variation from skein to skein, even within the same dyelot. For best results, alternate skeins every couple of rows in projects using several skeins.

These superwash yarns are machine washable at <30 on a delicate wash prefferably in a net bag, to best preserve your project gentle hand washing is recommended instead in lukewarm water.

Whilst all our yarns undergo a washing process after dyeing, there can be some bleeding when washed, especially with the use of some commercial wool washes, as these can sometimes weaken the dye bonds.
