Anatomy of Flame - Self striping sock

Anatomy of Flame is a gradient self striping yarn and so will repeat the gradient continously through the sock mirroring at the dark brown and electric blue points. Dyed as a one off colourway ahead of eastercon, This is only available on the Companion Sole Base

This is a 6 metre skein and will need to be wound by you before knitting. The best method of doing this is placing the skein over two chairs about 3 metres apart and winding a ball between them.

Hardy Merino Nylon Dk 80% Superwash Merino 2o% Nylon - 245/100g

Hardy Dk is a robust merino with nylon, that will make nice hardy sock in thicker weight yarn., With merino softness, but the benefit of a longer staple yarn to ensure a longer lasting project. 

Due to the hand dyed nature of this yarn there may be some variation from skein to skein, even within the same dyelot. For best results, alternate skeins every couple of rows in projects using several skeins.

These superwash yarns are machine washable at <30 on a delicate wash prefferably in a net bag, to best preserve your project gentle hand washing is recommended instead in lukewarm water.

Whilst all our yarns undergo a washing process after dyeing, there can be some bleeding when washed, especially with the use of some commercial wool washes, as these can sometimes weaken the dye bonds.
